It is an unusual mission that was entrusted to the gendarmes of Landivisiau (Finistère) on Saturday, called during the day for a barn owl stuck under a pile of materials in the courtyard of a company.
Arrived on the spot, the gendarmes, equipped with gloves and blanket, managed to gently extract the bird before putting it warm, they report on their Facebook page.
Saved, the owl was however in bad shape since she had a broken wing and suffered from hypothermia.
She was entrusted to the nearest veterinarian where she will stay a few more days to recover her health.
