Pehrson says he does not know if this weekend's attack could be part of a larger attack on Swedish society.

- The aim is not to attack primarily people who are entitled to social security at the right time, but this is a way to show that there is a serious threat to Sweden.

On Monday, he called Sweden's unemployment insurance funds to see if they need any support.

- I have summoned Sweden's unemployment insurance today.

Now we are going to hear how serious this is, what Sweden's unemployment insurance funds are doing to protect themselves and whether the government and I can do anything to support them and get to a safer position than they are obviously in now.

People must have the right social security fund at the right time, says Johan Pehrson.

Hope to get system access during the day

Sweden's unemployment insurance funds, a service and interest organization for the unemployment insurance funds, hopes to be notified when members will have access to the systems again during the day.

Should the systems be open from tomorrow, the members have until Tuesday to report and then get the money paid out on Friday.

- But all of this requires that you gain access to the systems and we are working 100 percent on that, and a little more, to make it so, says chancellor Tomas Eriksson.

He says that between 30,000 and 35,000 people are affected by the problem and may not receive the money they were supposed to receive this week.

"The till is empty"

SVT has spoken to Thomas, who is one of those who may not receive any money this week.

He has barely 200 kroner left to live on until the next payment.

- It's not a luxury life I want to live, I just want to live a decent life.

I don't even have money to get medicine if I need it, how fun is that?

It's especially tough that the money, which was supposed to arrive on Thursday, may not arrive this week because Thomas, like many others, paid his bills last week.

- The till is empty, I don't have any money now.

You have no margins as an unemployed person.

SVT is looking for a comment from the security police.
