Live: EU embargo on Russian oil imports by sea comes into effect

Russia is hit from Monday by an embargo from the European Union on its oil transported by sea.

The European embargo comes several months after that already decided by the United States and Canada, while Moscow has drawn 67 billion euros from its oil sales to the EU since the start of the war in Ukraine.
