“Lithuania will send 155-millimeter ammunition for Ukrainian artillery,” the head of the Lithuanian defense department informed.

Prior to this, Anushauskas announced his decision not to transfer Panzerhaubitze 2000 self-propelled howitzers, which are in service with the Lithuanian armed forces, to Kyiv.

He did not name the reasons for such a decision, but noted that at the same time, Lithuania decided to supply Kyiv with ammunition for howitzers.

In September, the Lithuanian Ministry of Defense announced the transfer of M113 armored vehicles to Ukraine.
