Teachers at Nya Raketskolan testify that the working environment is now worse than ever.

Staff who call in sick - a concern that half of the teachers will be lost in the spring - and students who are unwell and generally messy at the middle school.

Teachers also see a risk that students who are to receive grades in grade six may miss their knowledge goals and not receive passing grades.

- It is worse than it was before the protective stop.

The staff that we were supposed to get and that came here has already almost disappeared.

Of sixteen employees at the middle school, half may have quit in February, it's that bad, says Mikael Falk.

"We can't do a good job"

Rori Silverborn has ten years of experience as a teacher at other schools and after only four weeks at the New Rocket School in Kiruna, she is very critical of the work environment.

The worst situation she has experienced so far in the world of school.

- We can't do a good job, she says.

In the clip, you can hear her tell more about the situation.

The principal of the middle school has left her position and SVT Nyheter Norrbotten has sought both her and Kiruna's head of school for a comment without succeeding in reaching them.
