In Northeastern Gothenburg, the broker William Bahno works to sell homes.

Just before one of his screenings, the speculators call and cancel.

He believes that this is common at the moment.

According to housing site Booli, 26 percent fewer homes were sold in November than at the same time last year.

In William Bahno's sales area, the figure is similar.

"Other market"

William Bahno admits that he is affected by this.

- Today, it's a different market where there aren't as many speculators out for viewings.

It is about electricity prices, interest rate increases and the new world view.

The result is that buyers and sellers are currently finding it difficult to find each other in the housing market, says William Bahno.

Sellers have difficulty lowering requirements

He believes that sellers find it difficult to lower their requirements and therefore miss out on many potential buyers.

Despite everything, he personally sees the future positively and believes that buyers and sellers will be able to come to a better agreement in a few months.

- If you look at history, it always gets better over time, says William Bahno.
