Three men were arrested and placed in police custody on Saturday in Brest (Finistère).

They are suspected of having assaulted a 29-year-old young man at the exit of a nightclub in the city a few hours before the facts, reports Côté Brest.

The victim was reportedly first approached by one of the suspects.

The three defendants allegedly then stole his satchel before kicking him.

They also allegedly stole a wallet, bank card and phone.

The investigators collected the testimony of several people present at the scene of the events that evening.

They then found the suspects in possession of the items stolen from the young man.

After their arrest, the defendants were presented to the prosecution.

They are prosecuted for acts of theft with violence with ITT (total incapacity for work) less than or equal to eight days.

They have been remanded in custody pending their immediate appearance hearing scheduled for Tuesday.
