In April, Russian President Vladimir Putin called Ukrainians who wear military uniforms with stripes of the SS division “Galicia” scum.
In early May, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that the captured militants of the Ukrainian national battalions wear the symbols of the Waffen-SS battalions.
