Shot in an MJC.

A 21-year-old man was shot dead in an association hall in Bourg-lès-Valence (Drôme) on Saturday evening, we learned from a police source on Sunday.

At around 10 p.m., a hooded man burst into an MJC in this city bordering Valencia, in the north, where a few people were watching a football World Cup match.



The author shot his victim several times, before fleeing on a scooter driven by an accomplice, according to the first elements of the investigation.

The victim was known to the police for drug trafficking, according to a source familiar with the matter.

The judicial police have been seized.

At the end of November, the LR mayor of Valence, Nicolas Daragon, had asked for "additional mobile forces which move in our neighborhoods", ten days after a teenager had been surprised in the middle of the night by a Kalashnikov bullet that came to lodge in the his bedroom wall.
