A dramatic road accident took place around 3:30 a.m. on the night of Friday to Saturday in Bouguenais, very close to Nantes airport.
The collision between a truck and a car claimed the life of a 25-year-old motorist.
According to Loire-Atlantique firefighters, the vehicle fell into a ravine 15 meters below road level.
The truck driver is miraculous.
After the collision, the 32-year-old saw his lorry carrying 18 pallets of milk fall into the ravine and catch fire.
The man was able to leave the cabin just before his tractor-trailer caught fire.
The car would have drifted
The fire completely destroyed the truck and required the intervention of many firefighters, helped by teams from the airport.
The circumstances of the collision remain to be clarified.
According to the first elements collected by the gendarmerie and revealed by

, the car would have deported on the other lane, coming to strike the truck which arrived in front.
