A man has been arrested in Thailand for shooting at a school building because elementary school children are noisy.



On the 30th of last month, local time, local media, including the Thai daily Tiger, reported that the police charged A (44) with attempted murder, who fired 18 bullets into a building because elementary school students were noisy.



There were no injuries as it occurred on the 27th of last month, a Sunday when children did not go to school, but according to the school, there were eight students gathered at the school at the time to prepare for the contest. 



Students who heard the gunshots immediately hid, and the teacher, who went up to the 4th floor of the building to assess the situation, saw a gun hanging from the window.

The school said of Mr. A, "There was friction with the school in the past. He complained that the student activities were too noisy and bothered him."

In response, the school accepted Mr. A's problem and installed a soundproof wall to reduce noise.



However, in the end, Mr. A, who committed the crime, was arrested at his home three days after the incident.



During the police investigation, Mr. A stated that he committed the crime because he was angry at the singing of the national anthem and the sound of children's slogans.



According to police, Mr. A had two more firearms registered in his father's name in addition to the semi-automatic pistol he legally owned.



All of A's firearms were confiscated, and the police said they had revoked all of his rich man's gun licenses.



Meanwhile, Mr. A, who has been charged with attempted murder, is expected to be punished for half of the crime of murder according to the Thai Criminal Code.

Under Thailand's Criminal Code, those who commit murder are sentenced to life in prison or 15 to 20 years in prison.
