The Ukrainian Military Council in Kherson Province stated that the new weapons that arrived in Ukraine began to change the equation in the region, and he was referring to advanced weapons such as the American Himars missile system and the American long-range Howitzer cannons.
The statement comes after the Ukrainian forces retook several towns and villages in the countryside of Kherson that were controlled by Russian forces at the beginning of the war launched by Russia against Ukraine.

In a related development, the Ukrainian Ministry of Energy expressed today, Sunday, its regret over Canada's decision to deliver a turbine to Germany to operate the Russian gas pipeline "Nord Stream 1", despite the Western sanctions imposed on Russia. The turbine was undergoing maintenance at a facility near Montreal in Canada belonging to the German company "Siemens".
Last month, the Russian company "Gazprom" justified the reduction of natural gas supplies to Germany, which is suffering from an escalating energy crisis, by its need for the turbine.
