The Egyptian President and the Jordanian Monarch affirm full support for the Palestinians to obtain their rights

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and Jordan's King Abdullah II stressed today, Saturday, the need to provide full support to the Palestinian brothers to obtain their just and legitimate rights, and the importance of intensifying efforts to achieve a just and comprehensive peace based on the two-state solution.

This came during talks held by Sisi and King Abdullah II in Cairo today, "dealing with the strong relations between the two countries, and developments in the regional and international situation," according to the Jordan News Agency (Petra).

In their talks, which took place at the Ittihadiya Palace in Cairo, the Egyptian president and the Jordanian monarch affirmed their pride in the level of distinguished relations that unite the two brotherly countries and peoples, and their keenness to strengthen them in various fields.

The two parties stressed the continuation of expanding bilateral cooperation between Jordan and Egypt, and the tripartite cooperation with Iraq, and building on the agreements concluded, in order to achieve common interests and serve Arab issues.

The talks dealt with the latest developments in the region and the world, as it was emphasized to maintain coordination and consultation on issues of common concern.

The Jordanian monarch arrived in Cairo earlier today on a short working visit to Egypt to discuss support for cooperation and the latest developments.
