China News Agency, Beijing, December 3rd (Ma Shuisha) The crew of Shenzhou 14 astronauts will return to Earth on December 4th.

Since entering the Chinese space station on June 5 this year, the three astronauts have been fully scheduled for on-orbit tasks, which can be said to be the "busiest crew" since the implementation of the space station mission.

The "Shen XIV" crew has created many "firsts" in the past six months, witnessed many historical moments of China's manned spaceflight, cooperated with the ground to complete the assembly and construction of the basic configuration of the space station "T", and opened the "Three Firsts" of Chinese space. In the era of "living room", completed the first on-orbit handover with the crew of Shenzhou 15, and opened the long-term manned residence mode of China's space station.

Open the era of Chinese space "three-bedroom"

During the in-orbit period, the crew of Shenzhou 14 successively ushered in the Wentian and Mengtian experimental modules, cooperated with the ground to complete the assembly and construction of the space station, and gradually completed the flight status of a three-cabin combination from a single-cabin combination flight.

For the first time, it entered two experimental cabins.

The Wentian Experimental Module and the Mengtian Experimental Module are the two experimental modules of the Chinese space station, each with a launch weight of about 23 tons.

During the in-orbit period of the Shenzhou 14 astronauts, the Chinese space station realized the rendezvous and docking of two 20-ton spacecraft for the first time, completing the first international planar transposition.

Among them, the Wentian experimental module mission is the first time that the Chinese space station has rendezvoused and docked in a manned state.

It is the first time to conduct space lectures in the Wentian Experimental Cabin.

On October 12, the "Tiangong Classroom" gave a lecture in the Wentian Experimental Cabin. The Shenzhou 14 astronauts, as new "space teachers", introduced and demonstrated the working and living scenes of the Wentian Experimental Cabin, and demonstrated the plant research on the space station for the first time. The scientific experiment operation of the project.

Chen Dong put on the first mixed reality glasses in the space station, and collected samples of Arabidopsis thaliana grown in space in the scientific glove box.

3 times out of the cabin to set a record

The crews of Shenzhou 12 and Shenzhou 13 carried out 2 out-of-vehicle missions respectively, and the astronaut crew of Shenzhou 14 completed 3 out-of-vehicle activities in total, creating a record of 3 out-of-vehicle missions in one mission.

It was the first time to leave the airlock of the Wentian Experimental Cabin.

In early September, Chen Dong and Liu Yang completed their first out-of-vehicle debut. This was the first out-of-vehicle activity during the construction phase of the Chinese space station. The airlock of the Wentian Experimental Module was used for the first time, and the small robotic arm assisted in extravehicular operations for the first time.

The interval between outboard activities is the shortest.

On September 17, the crew completed the second out-of-vehicle activity. This mission was only 16 days after the crew's first out-of-vehicle activity, setting a record for the shortest time between Chinese astronauts' two out-of-vehicle activities.

The space station is out of the cabin for the first time in the "T" configuration.

The last mission of the Shenzhou 14 crew to go out of the cabin was the first out of the cabin after the formation of the "T" basic configuration of the Chinese space station.

Chen Dong became the first astronaut to board the combined robotic arm; Cai Xuzhe achieved the first extravehicular walk across the cabin and became the first astronaut to reach the Mengtian experimental module.

The first "space rendezvous" of two crews

It is the first time to "receive express delivery" in orbit.

On November 12, the Tianzhou-5 cargo spacecraft was successfully launched and achieved a 2-hour fast rendezvous and docking for the first time, setting a record for the fastest rendezvous and docking of human spacecraft.

This is the first time that Chinese astronauts ushered in a cargo spacecraft in orbit.

The spacecraft sent to the space station the six-month on-orbit consumables, propellants, application (test) test devices and other materials for the three astronauts of Shenzhou 15.

It is the first time to welcome the visit of a manned spacecraft.

On November 30th, the Shenzhou 15 manned spacecraft successfully docked with the space station assembly. Chinese astronauts ushered in a manned spacecraft on the space station for the first time. It is the first time that six astronauts fly in orbit at the same time.

  Completed the first in-orbit handover.

On the evening of December 2, the crew of Shenzhou 14 and the astronaut crew of Shenzhou 15 completed the first on-orbit handover of China's manned spaceflight. Team Commander Chen Dong received the key to the Chinese space station.

The Chinese space station has officially opened a long-term manned residence mode.
