Britain warned against Russian President Vladimir Putin exploiting the peace negotiations on the Ukrainian crisis to rebuild his army, amid international statements and calls for a peaceful solution to the crisis and Moscow's announcement of the failure of negotiations with the West.

British Foreign Secretary James Cleverly said in an interview with The Telegraph that Russian President Vladimir Putin could take advantage of peace talks in Ukraine to re-equip his forces before launching another attack.

The newspaper reported that Cleverly revealed fears that Putin might pretend to be involved in negotiations when he was actually training more troops and sending more ammunition.

The Telegraph quoted Cleverly as saying that there is a possibility that "Putin will only take advantage of the ceasefire to train more forces, produce more ammunition, and re-equip and arm his armed forces after the damage they have suffered."

In Ankara, the Turkish presidency reported that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stressed, during a call with British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, the need to quickly establish a negotiating ground between Russia and Ukraine, in the interest of all parties.

In Washington, the White House said Putin had shown no signs of being willing to end the war in Ukraine.

On the Ukrainian side, Mykhailo Podolyak, advisor to the Ukrainian President, said in a tweet on Twitter that the only real way for a diplomatic settlement is the complete and unconditional withdrawal of the Russian occupation forces from Ukraine.

The only real way of a "diplomatic settlement" — complete and unconditional withdrawal of the Russian occupation troops from Ukraine.

If Russia does not understand this axiom, it will with a special "translator" - 🇺🇦 Armed Forces will help to pave a known path to the border.

The Kremlin announced that attempts to negotiate with Washington, NATO and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe had failed.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed that the US president stipulated Russia's withdrawal from Ukraine, which is not possible, and the military operation is continuing, he said.

At the conclusion of its meetings in Poland, the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe failed to adopt a unified position on the Ukrainian crisis.

Most OSCE members agreed that Russia, a member of the organization, should be held accountable for the crimes it committed in Ukraine.

Russian bombing of Donetsk

On the ground, the governor of the Ukrainian province of Donetsk, Pavel Grill Yanko, said that 6 civilians were wounded in Russian bombing that targeted several cities in the province.

Yanko added that two residential buildings and 3 administrative buildings were damaged as a result of the bombing on the city of Kostantinevka, accusing the Russian forces of deliberately targeting civilians and destroying the city's infrastructure.

The Ukrainian official also indicated that 1,235 civilians were killed, while about 2,670 others were wounded in Donetsk, since the beginning of the Russian war on Ukraine.

Aerial photos of Mariupol

High-quality satellite images captured of the Ukrainian city of Mariupol on November 30, published by the specialized company "Maxar", showed the effects of the Russian blockade and the battles taking place there since March 2022.

The pictures show demolitions of residential towers that have been severely damaged, in addition to monitoring large stocks of building materials near a number of shopping centers in the city.

The pictures also showed the construction of a new Russian military complex in the north of the city center, with the emblem of the Russian army visible on the roof.

Training of more than a thousand Ukrainian soldiers

On the other hand, the European Union's foreign and security policy official, Josep Borrell, said that 1,100 soldiers have so far participated in the European Union's training mission for the Ukrainian army.

Borrell revealed the figure during a visit on Friday to a training camp in Brzeg, Poland.

The EU foreign ministers approved the mission on November 14 at a cost of 100 million euros, in which 20 European countries will train a total of 15,000 soldiers.
