A frontal collision between two vehicles killed three people and injured five this Saturday in Plouvien (Finistère), announced the firefighters and the gendarmerie.

According to the gendarmes, the three deceased victims were three young men who occupied the same vehicle.

They would be under 30 years old, according to our colleagues from

and died on the spot.

Around 5 p.m., for a reason that remains to be determined and on a "wide and well-running lane", according to the soldiers, the victims' vehicle veered across onto the opposite lane.

Five injured

The three occupants of this second car were "seriously injured", but their vital prognoses were not engaged, according to the gendarmerie.

Two other people were more lightly affected.

They occupied a third car which could not avoid the collision with the two main damaged vehicles.

The five injured were evacuated to several hospitals in Brest.
