The unknown motive

Former student of the college in front of which the tragedy took place on Friday, the suspect had been excluded for acts of violence, according to a source close to the investigation.

The motive is currently undetermined.

Around 5:30 p.m. Friday, leaving his establishment, a 13-year-old schoolboy was stabbed in the abdomen, said a police source.

Conscious, he was transported to Necker hospital in Paris, added this source.

He has since been hospitalized, without vital prognosis, the prosecution told AFP.
