According to RIA Novosti, the delegations of the leadership of Serbia and the EU signed a number of agreements on targeted financial assistance as part of the EU package for the provision of funds from the pre-entry funds under the IPA III program in the field of healthcare and migration.

The event was attended by Commissioner for EU Enlargement and Neighborhood Policy Oliver Varhelyi.

“I informed him (Varheli. -

) that it is very important that no one can carry out anything through the territory of Serbia to circumvent sanctions, because we are not engaged in crime, we do not earn on anyone’s difficulties during the war,” said the Serbian leader.

Vučić stressed that Serbia has "a strong enough economy" to worry about itself, and thanks to EU support, the country has "no big problems."

He also recalled the €165 million budgetary aid allocated by the EU to Serbia.

At the end of October, the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, recommended that Serbia, as a candidate country for EU membership, bring its foreign policy in line with the foreign policy of the community.

Vučić said he considered the right decision not to impose anti-Russian sanctions.

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, condemned the call of the European Parliament to Serbia to impose sanctions against Russia.
