The weather on Saturday will be marked by a rainy deterioration over the south-east of France while the sky will remain gray elsewhere, according to forecasts from Météo France.

A disturbance will enter the south-east of France at the end of the night and will give rains during the day from the Mediterranean rim towards the Massif Central and Limousin.

It will snow in the morning above 600 meters on the Massif Central, and in the afternoon around 1,200m in the south of the massif, around 700/800m in northern Auvergne in small quantities.

It will also snow during the day on the Southern Alps above 1,100 meters.

Intense rains in Languedoc and southern PACA

The rains will intensify in the afternoon over Languedoc and the south of PACA, taking on a stormy aspect at times on the coasts, and giving good accumulations of rain.

The rainy wave will extend in the evening from PACA and Languedoc-Roussillon to Poitou-Charentes, via Auvergne and Limousin.

In the morning, light snowfall will be possible on the Normandy hills without bleaching the ground.

On Corsica, the weather will be rainy on the eastern side with sometimes stormy showers near the coast.

A risk of showers is also present during the day on the tip of the Cotentin and the north of Brittany as well as at the end of the day on Aquitaine.

On the rest of the territory, the clouds will be the majority throughout the day.

The northeast wind will remain sensitive over the northern half of the country, particularly on the Channel and Atlantic coasts.

An easterly wind will develop on the Mediterranean coasts, blowing in the afternoon up to 70/80 km / h in gusts.

Mild temperatures on the Mediterranean coast

Minimum temperatures will be between 0 and 3 degrees throughout the territory with possible light frosts between Brittany and Hauts-de-France, in the Grand-Est, in Burgundy-Franche-Comté and in Auvergne-Rhône- Alps.

It will still be a little milder, 5 to 8 degrees on the Mediterranean coast and 10 degrees on the Corsican coast.

Maximum temperatures will be stationary with 2 to 5 degrees in Normandy, Hauts-de-France, southern Auvergne and Grand-Est.

Count 7 to 10 degrees on the tip of Brittany, the Aquitaine coast and the Mediterranean basin and up to 14 degrees on the Côte d'Azur, or even a little more in Corsica.
