While promoting the resolution of domestic ecological and environmental problems, China adheres to an open and inclusive attitude, participates in international environmental cooperation and global environmental governance in an all-round way, conscientiously fulfills the presidency of the 15th Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity, and implements global development initiative, deeply participate in regional and multilateral environmental governance processes, and promote the construction of global ecological civilization.

  Huang Runqiu said that China is willing to continue to work with Japan and South Korea to actively promote green and low-carbon global development, make good use of cooperation platforms such as the "Belt and Road" Green Development International Alliance, and combine the successful experience of environmental cooperation, ecological civilization construction and green development concepts of the three countries with More partners share and make positive contributions to regional sustainable development.

  Huang Runqiu emphasized that with the joint efforts of the environmental departments of the three countries, the "Joint Action Plan for Environmental Cooperation among China, Japan and South Korea (2021-2025)" has entered the implementation stage in an all-round way.

It is hoped that the three parties will explore the potential of cooperation based on the existing achievements, carry out in-depth mutually beneficial and win-win cooperation based on the needs of various countries, promote the synergy between China-Japan-ROK cooperation and other regional environmental cooperation mechanisms, and strengthen position communication and coordination on important global environmental issues.

  The China-Japan-Korea Environment Ministers Meeting started in 1999 with the aim of implementing the consensus reached at the summit meeting of the three countries, discussing and solving common regional environmental problems, and promoting sustainable development in the region.
