It is the newspaper Råd och Rön that compiles a list each year of the companies that have received the most notifications from the Swedish Consumer Agency.

The company that so far tops the list in 2022 is Telia with 524 reports - and according to the newspaper, the dissatisfaction is mainly directed at the company's customer service.

In 2021, the telecom company placed second on the list, and the Swedish Consumer Agency has chosen to follow up on the case that was initiated last year.

- We keep an eye on this continuously, says Cecilia Norlander, a lawyer at the Swedish Consumer Agency, to Råd och Rön.

Sorry that customers are in trouble

Telia's press department writes in an email to TT that the largest part of the company's cases are connected to a negotiation with Viaplay that did not "come to a conclusion".

"We are incredibly sorry that our customers were caught in these discussions.

Since the broadcasting rights from Viaplay ended, we have worked with the highest priority to replace our customers in the very best way," writes Telia, among other things.

In second place on Råd och Rön's list is Detur, a travel company that earlier this year quickly shut down its operations with no trips and stranded travelers as a result.

Image rating sites are coming back

Three places on the top list are occupied by car valuation sites, where customers, among other things, received invoices for services they thought were free.

According to the Swedish Consumer Agency, companies with a focus on car valuations are common on the list - year after year.

- It's frustrating, it causes a lot of problems.

At the same time, it is not forbidden to run a car valuation site and charge for it.

But there must be reasonable conditions and the price must be stated, says Charlotte Söderlund, lawyer at the Swedish Consumer Agency.
