Snowden recalled the episode when the diplomatic plane of Bolivian President Evo Morales was forcibly landed in Vienna in 2013.
According to him, this was done in order to prevent him from leaving.
Earlier, lawyer Anatoly Kucherena, representing the interests of Snowden, said that his client took the oath and received a Russian passport.
On September 26, Russian President Vladimir Putin gave Snowden Russian citizenship.
