A 20-year-old man appeared Thursday before the court of La Roche-sur-Yon (Vendée), for violence committed against a dealer.

On November 27, he was in a fast food restaurant and asked another man if he had cannabis.

After a positive response, the two men had isolated themselves.

But instead of paying for his order, the defendant had pulled out a "Gomm knocks", a rubber bullet gun, reports

He had shot the dealer in the shoulder, two or three meters away.

Then the young man had fled, in the car of a couple who were waiting for him.

Several weapons in his car

The victim had been taken care of by the emergency services.

The defendant was finally arrested two days later following a police check and a chase.

Several other weapons were found in his vehicle.

According to the regional daily, the prosecution noted "the extreme impulsiveness and dangerousness" of the defendant.

The latter was finally sentenced to thirty-six months in prison, eighteen of which with a probationary sentence of two years.

He returned to prison.
