Iranian Foreign Minister: NATO expansion to the east caused the Ukrainian crisis

According to TASS, the head of the Iranian Foreign Ministry said this during a telephone conversation with UN Secretary General António Guterres.

“The crisis in Ukraine is rooted in the misguided policy of NATO expansion to the east,” he said.

Earlier, The American Conservative wrote that the American political elite is responsible for the Ukrainian conflict, as they provoked the start of a Russian special operation in Ukraine by their actions.
