The new government is in place and will face the opposition in a televised debate for the first time.

For two hours, the party leaders will debate the topics of migration, welfare, the climate and household finances.

Each topic starts with a duel between two party leaders followed by a debate involving everyone.

- We think that all the topics feel urgent, but it will be exciting to see what the parties choose to focus on, says Camilla Kvartoft, who leads Agenda's party leader debate together with Anders Holmberg.

The economy in focus

The first topic out is migration, where the government and the Sweden Democrats' proposal to lower the number of quota refugees has created debate.

The evening ends with perhaps the most current issue at the moment, household finances.

- It goes without saying to talk about the economy when inflation is sky high and people are wondering how they are going to survive the winter, says host Anders Holmberg.

The party leader debate in Agenda is broadcast on Sunday at 20:00 on SVT 2 and on SVT Play.
