Foreign Ministry: Russia has lost interest in the Munich Conference, which has lost its objectivity

“We are forced to state with regret that in recent years the Munich Conference has turned into a purely transatlantic forum, has lost its inclusiveness, objectivity and equidistance to speakers from its rostrum,” the ministry said.

It is noted that the interest of the Russian side in this conference has disappeared.

The Foreign Ministry stressed that the Russian delegation was not going to participate in the Munich Conference, even if it were invited.

Earlier, the chairman of the Munich Security Conference, Christoph Heusgen, said that the Russian authorities were not invited to the Munich Security Conference.
