Requested by AFP, the Paris prosecutor's office "confirmed that eight people (six men and two women aged 26 to 34) were placed in police custody on November 29 as part of the ongoing investigation at the Pole national campaign against online hate".

"Five have been summoned to a subsequent hearing for trial, including aggravated cyberbullying charges," the source confirmed.

The rapper Booba, whose summons on this date had been announced by the newspaper Le Parisien and whom Magali Berdah holds responsible for his cyberharassment, "was not one of the eight", specified the prosecution.

Asked, Magali Berdah did not wish to react.

Two custody lifted

Me Antonin Gravelin-Rodriguez and Anouck Aragones, lawyers for Magali Berdah in this case, did not wish to comment either.

Me David-Olivier Kaminski, another lawyer for Magali Berdah, accused "the convict" Booba, sentenced to eighteen months in prison suspended for a famous brawl with his rival Kaaris in 2018 at Orly airport , to "scroll away at the first call".

The public prosecutor also clarified that "two police custody were lifted for further investigation. One person was dismissed for lack of a sufficiently serious offense".
