Former US President Bill Clinton announced that he was infected with the “Corona” virus, but the symptoms of the disease were mild, stressing that he encouraged obtaining the “Covid-19” vaccine.

This is the latest health problem facing the 76-year-old Clinton, who was briefly hospitalized last year and has undergone a number of surgeries since 2004.

Bill Clinton said in a tweet on “Twitter”: “I am fine in general, and I occupy myself at home.

I am grateful to receive the vaccine and the booster doses for it,” stressing that this “made my condition moderate.”

"I urge everyone to do the same, especially with the onset of the winter months," he added.

In October 2021, Clinton spent five nights in a California hospital due to a blood infection, before he was released holding the arm of his wife, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

And in 2004, when he was 58, he underwent surgery after doctors found signs of a heart condition.

Six years later, he underwent coronary artery stenting.

His health condition prompted him to follow a vegan diet, and to speak publicly about his improved health thanks to new rules on food consumption.
