“A cat killer in Amanlis”.

This is how the message begins that the mayor of this small town of Ille-et-Vilaine has just conveyed to the inhabitants.

And in particular to cat owners who are called upon to be extra vigilant, after five animals were found dead in a few weeks.

All would have been discovered in the same place, and each time with “the same modus operandi”.

“The autopsy showed that it was death by violent trauma,” writes the mayor, Loïc Godet.

According to him, a complaint was filed by several families at the Janzé gendarmerie.

He encourages people who "witness something that could help the gendarmerie" to contact the town hall secretariat.
