“I want to say to Zelensky, and here is Podolyak: don’t delay, but you come, swim, swim,” RIA Novosti quotes her.

She also said that Ukrainian politicians can take more Ukrainian journalists with them so that “everyone can see everything.”

Zakharova noted that Ukrainian and Western journalists have always had the opportunity to visit Crimea, but “they didn’t do this,” but instead, “they wove all sorts of fables.”

The representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs added that Ukrainian and Western journalists “didn’t go anywhere at all, where the picture didn’t fit into their mainstream,” including to the Donbass.

Earlier, Mikhail Podolyak, an adviser to the office of the President of Ukraine, said on Ukrainian TV that in six months he wants to go “to the embankment in Yalta”, from where he will broadcast live.

Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia Dmitry Medvedev reminded Podolyak that a video broadcast could be arranged, but "directly from the pre-trial detention center."

The Kremlin also said that Crimea is an integral part of Russia and claims to Russian territory will receive a proper response.

Crimea became a Russian region after a referendum held there in March 2014: the majority of residents voted for reunification with Russia.
