“Now, if a person is sent to a war zone, banks and bailiffs are prohibited from writing off his funds as part of enforcement proceedings,” he said.
At the same time, the opportunity to seize funds on the accounts of participants in the special operation remains, he noted.
Turchak noted that the amendments prepared by United Russia eliminate this possibility, including in relation to the accounts of individual entrepreneurs.
Earlier, the Ministry of Social Policy of the LPR announced additional measures to support the participants of the special operation: a draft government decree is being developed on social support measures for citizens called up for military service in the Russian Armed Forces and the People's Militia of the Republic.
