- I've never been part of a film shoot, so it's so fun to see everything in place.

There have been negotiations back and forth and it's a long process with a lot to be done - but now everything is up and running, says a happy Emelie Schepp.

Filming in Norrköping

On this day, an outdoor scene is filmed at the Museum of Work in Norrköping.

And it is noticeable on the spot that it is a professional film team that takes on the production, with two well-known directors - who are working together for the first time.

- I think Emelie writes very exciting and comprehensible, so it's a very good book to make a film out of, says Felix Herngren, who in collaboration with Henrik Björn is directing the production.

- In the story there is an exciting personal journey made by the main character and elements that are a little out of the ordinary.

That, in combination with a crime story that drives the plot forward, made me feel that this could be a very good TV series, says Henrik Björn.

Secret leads

Emelie Schepp, who is on this day at the recordings, is looking forward to the final result.

- They have done an incredibly good job with the casting.

I am so proud of all the characters that will be in the series, she says.

The production company FLX still wants to keep secret who is playing the main roles.

"Jana - Marked for life" comes in six episodes and is expected to premiere on Viaplay in the fall of 2023.
