"Currently, the price situation in the food market is stable and is within the seasonal trends," the ministry said.
The department added that traditionally for this period of the year there is a slight increase in the cost of certain categories of fruit and vegetable products, which "primarily due to a reduction in the supply of open-ground domestic vegetables on the market."
Earlier, the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture stated that Russia had reached a historical record for the gross soybean harvest, 6 million tons have been harvested to date.
