Here the pre-school children talk about their self-made film - shown at Eskilstuna theatre

It is the third time that the project has been held and this year it has been based on four of Per Gustavsson's picture books.

The project's approach is to promote reading, language development and creativity.

In total, there were 13 films that were shown on a large screen inside the Eskilstuna theater.

- My mission as a library consultant is to arouse a love of reading.

We think that by working with film and book together, you awaken the love of reading in children who may not have quite found it yet, says library consultant Annika Sjöblom.

The children were on their toes throughout the film screening and, among other things, they laughed along when there were funny segments.

- It was fun, but the screen was a bit too big, says Nicholas Nemecek.
