A more than profitable flight.

A man who had just bought 300 iPhones in an Apple store in the heart of New York (United States) was assaulted on Monday night.

The victim went to the store on Fifth Avenue around 1:45 a.m. local time and bought several hundred iPhones there, which he then intended to resell.

But when he came out with his three bags, each containing a hundred smartphones from the Apple brand, the 27-year-old man was spotted by thieves, reports Phonandroid.

125 iPhones stolen

As the man was heading towards his car parked nearby, another vehicle stopped alongside him.

Two menacing men came out and attacked him.

They managed to steal one of the bags, which contained precisely 125 iPhones.

The victim managed to keep the other two bags.

Specialized in the resale of iPhone, the young man used to shop at night or in the early morning to be quiet.

Fortunately, he was not injured in the attack.

An investigation has been opened to try to find the thieves, who are potentially suspected of having first identified and monitored the victim before taking action.
