Franz-Olivier Giesbert "accepted the proposal made to him by Marc de Lacharrière to take charge of the major interviews of the Revue des Deux Mondes. (...) In this capacity, he became special adviser to Marc de Lacharrière, in charge of foresight," the group said.

The journalist was already contributing to this publication before this appointment.

Fimalac also announced the appointment from December 1 of Aurélie Julia as editorial director of the Revue des Deux Mondes, taking over from Valérie Toranian.

The latter, wife of Franz-Olivier Giesbert, was appointed editorial director of Le Point in October.

Valérie Toranian will however remain a member of the editorial board of the monthly review.

Doctor of literature, "Aurélie Julia joined the Revue des Deux Mondes 13 years ago and became the pivot of the editorial team. (...) She will be responsible for the continuity of the editorial line", according to the press release.

Founded in 1829, the prestigious Revue des Deux Mondes was bought in 1991 by Marc Ladreit de Lacharrière, today 28th French fortune, also owner of the online media group Webedia.

Fimalac is present in digital media, performing arts, hotels and real estate.
