Eleven ewes from the same flock were killed by wolves, on the night of Thursday to last Friday, in Ongles (Alpes-de-Haute-Provence).
It was the second attack in less than a week in the area.
A few days earlier, around twenty sheep had died in another wolf attack, in Auzet, reports BFM DICI.
The breeder, who owns 160 animals, is angry.
"My 70-year-old mother tells me to stop," he told local media.
His two dogs could not do anything to prevent the attack which would have been committed by at least five wolves, according to an expert who went there.
“They attack as long as the animals move,” laments the breeder.
