Three Chinese astronauts have arrived at the Tiangong space station, states the state news agency New China, reports TT.

Docking at the Tiangong station occurred early Wednesday Chinese time, about 6 and a half hours after the Shenzhou-15 spacecraft was blasted off the top of a Long March-2F rocket from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center on Tuesday night.

On board is veteran Fei Junlong, 57, along with first-time space visitors Deng Qingming and Zhang Lu.

This is the second spacewalk for Fei, who was last there in 2005.

First staff change

On board the space station, three people have been there since June.

When they return to Earth in December, China has completed its first personnel change at the space station.
