A state of anger dominated the audience of singer Asala after her recent statements, during which she expressed her gratitude to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, after her last concert within the activities of the Riyadh season.

Asala said that she owes credit to the Kingdom, which sparked a state of anger for her Egyptian audience because she did not mention the name of Egypt, especially since the beginning of her fame after her presence from Syria was from this country.

Asala had written a post on her official Facebook page, in which she thanked her friends, family, the band, the Entertainment Authority and other people, after the concert, which she described as one of the dreams of her station and her artistic career.

In her post, she stated, "With thanks to my tender homeland, my loving homeland, my homeland, my homeland, my homeland, my supporter, my dear homeland, Saudi Arabia, and I am full of gratitude and pride in leading my great homeland."

She concluded her post by saying, "I thank all of you, the loving majority and the critical minority, because without this and that, I would not have achieved what I have achieved."

According to one of the local websites, Asala said during the party that her entire history is credited to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which will remain indebted to her for a lifetime, and despite what the website mentioned and angered the public, Asala did not deny or comment on the crisis.

The Egyptian composer Helmy Bakr - during a phone call to the "Hazrat Al-Citizen" program on "Al-Hadath Al-Youm" channel - attacked Asala's statements and said, "Egypt embraced Asala more than Syria. In her success and fame, I blame her, and it is a shame that she denies the virtue of Egypt over her. The audience has become more generous than necessary. The response to the audience is not with us. My son, when he makes a mistake, I punish him.

And he continued, "Asala has the Syrian and Bahraini nationalities, but she lives in Egypt, and when I was in Syria and the broadcaster came to present her, he said: If Syria is the birth, then Egypt is the bosom, a shame."

Attack and defense

Although the Syrian singer - during her publication - did not attack or talk about her experience in Egypt, the pioneers of the platforms criticized her statements, amid a widespread attack on the communication sites for neglecting to mention the name of Egypt and its role in her artistic career.

Activists on platforms launched an attack on it, as journalist Mohamed El-Disti mentioned in a tweet to him, "Egypt made the fame of Asala, Nancy Ajram, Elisa and other stars. Denying that is a lack of origin and will not change the truth. Egypt is the origin of art."

Egypt is the one who made the fame of Asala, Nancy Ajram, Elissa and other stars. Denying that is a lack of origin and will not change the truth. Egypt is the origin of art ♥

While Amira Abu Shahba commented, saying that what Asala said calls for an attack on her, and everyone who watched the ceremony heard what she said that her entire history is thanks to Saudi Arabia.

My soul, bring it again

, she said half of it, "All I have recited, and my entire history, not half or a quarter, but all thanks to Saudi Arabia."

All those who attended the party saw this on the air

, we will not get used

to it. Uh, this calls for a comprehensive attack on her, if you have blood, God forbid.

Saif commented on the matter, saying that Asala, in order to compliment Saudi Arabia, decided to make a statement denying the merit of Egypt in discovering its talent and stardom.

There was no admiration for the star Asala

. In order to compliment our people in Saudi Arabia, she makes a statement that is devoid of all originality and denies and

ignores the virtue of the mother of the world in discovering her talent and stardom

. God bless you, Egypt. How many people deny your favor and the river of your giving is still flowing

Not worth the attack

On the other hand, some were keen to defend her based on her previous statements in which she expressed her gratitude to Egypt and its people, and they ruled out that such statements would be issued by her.

Journalist Yasmine Mahfouz wrote, "I saw Asala Malick's words that warrant an attack on her, and there is nothing in her words that she says that it was Saudi Arabia that embraced her in her early beginnings."

And she continued, "The whole story is that she thanks Saudi Arabia for the party, and thanks those who helped her make her party a success, and expresses her love for the Kingdom."

I saw Asala's words, and I did not find what warranted an attack on her.

The whole story is that she thanks Saudi Arabia for the party and those who helped her make her party a success and expresses her love for Saudi Arabia..!!

Where are her words that you say about?!

Ghaith also supported her, and said that we cannot forget Asala's love for Egypt and its people, and her last concert expressed her love and adoration for Egypt, the country of art, and Asala's love for Egypt and Saudi Arabia is one, and she is always proud that she lives in Egypt and sings for the Egyptians.

By God, shame on you, who forgets Asala’s love for Egypt, its people, and its people, until her last concert was in Egypt, expressing her great love and adoration for Egypt, and that it is the country of art. The problem has not been a month since the concert, and Asala’s love for Saudi Arabia and Egypt is one, and we are all brothers, and even she is always proud that she lives in Egypt and sings for you # Asala pic.twitter.com/VOcf1iwkJt

And Manar considered that: Asala, for more than 30 years, has presented art with love and success, dazzling us and dazzling the world, whether in Egypt or the Gulf, and everywhere she has her fans and lovers, and it is natural to thank the country that honors her.

Asala has been presenting art for more than 30 years with love and success, and every time she dazzles us and dazzles the Arab world with her success, whether it is Egyptian or Gulf, and she has her fans and fans everywhere. One of her Gulf songs https://t.co/k3K8TOcBQA
