A draft on the payment of alimony from the allowance of a captured military man was submitted to the State Duma

According to TASS, the draft was submitted by a group of senators.

The explanatory note to the document states that, according to the current legislation, the military, captured or missing, retains monetary allowance, which is sent to his wife or his other relatives who lived with him. 

The senators proposed to supplement the composition of the recipients of funds with "other family members who previously received alimony from the serviceman."

Earlier, the chairman of the State Duma Committee on Family, Women and Children, Nina Ostanina, in an interview with NSN, said that it was not planned to increase the interest rate on alimony payments.
