On November 30, a wedding took place at the First Branch of the Vishnevsky Military Hospital in Krasnogorsk, Moscow Region.

Employees of the registry office near Moscow came specially to marry Sergei Kutkov, who lost both legs at the front in Donbass, and his beloved Victoria, who was not afraid of injuries and came to take care of her beloved from Donetsk.

In the military hospital, an assembly hall was prepared for the wedding of Victoria and Sergey, and the ceremony was held in the same way as in a regular registry office: with music, flowers and rings, elegant registrars and newlyweds, an official presidium against the backdrop of the state flag.

In the presence of several guests (after all, a sensitive facility), the newlyweds exchanged rings to the march of Mendelssohn and received congratulations from the audience.

“Wedding is very exciting.

I'm very happy, thank you.

We wrote an appeal to the RT channel - and they helped us, helped with the documents.

It would be very difficult to do it ourselves, because initially I had only DPR citizenship, and Sergey had Russian citizenship, and it would be difficult for us to sign without someone's help, ”Victoria said immediately after the marriage ceremony.

Now, after the wedding, the newlyweds hope that Sergei will recover as soon as possible and will be able to go home with his beloved.

According to Kutkov, he is happy that he got married and that Victoria is with him.

“Of course, it was hard for me, it was hard even just to call my beloved, to talk about such an injury.

But it turned out how it happened.

Now the mood is to recover as soon as possible, to return home, ”said the man.

Colonel of the medical service Mikhail Ivankov, who works at the First Branch of the Vishnevsky Military Hospital and was present at the ceremony, told RT that this was the second wedding in their hospital during the special operation.

“The wedding has a very positive effect on the psychological state of patients and their motivation for recovery.

The guy thinks: I'm not alone anymore, I have a wife, I have a family to take care of.

If before that the patient was lazy somewhere, somewhere he didn’t do physiotherapy exercises, for example, then he already has motivation: I will do it, I have to walk, I have to provide for my family, ”explains the doctor.

"Bird Rights"

Earlier, RT told the story of Sergei Kutkov, who was seriously wounded at the front in September, and at the end of the month, his beloved Victoria Pyanykh arrived at a military hospital near Moscow.

According to her, before the start of the SVO, she and Sergei wanted to get married, but did not have time - the man was called to the front.

Upon learning of the injury, Victoria decided to stay in the Moscow region and take care of her beloved, however, since legally she and Sergei were not husband and wife, she could not be constantly in the hospital where Kutkov was lying.

She was in the hospital for a long time "on bird's rights" - according to a statement written by the patient's mother, Victoria could be with him until she left the hospital.

After that, they wouldn't let her back.

At the same time, as Victoria said, Sergey was badly injured in the battle: he had to amputate parts of both legs, there are severe burns on his back and shrapnel wounds, he cannot see in one eye.

It was necessary to take care of the wounded soldier constantly, so Sergei's relatives turned to the editors of RT with a request to assist and organize a marriage ceremony.

Prior to this, Victoria had already applied to the Krasnogorsk registry office, but since the girl does not have Russian citizenship, the procedure could stretch for an indefinite period.

At the same time, the employees of the registry office and the military hospital went towards the young people, agreeing that the wedding would take place right in the military hospital.

After the publication of RT, the government of the Moscow region intervened in the story.

The bride of a serviceman managed to obtain Russian citizenship in a week, after which Victoria applied to the registry office.
