US Secretary of State Tony Blincoln announced on the 29th local time that he supported the right to peaceful protest in relation to the protests of the Chinese people against the Chinese government's "zero corona" policy.

Minister Blincoln, who is visiting Bucharest, Romania to attend the NATO Foreign Ministers' Meeting, answered related questions at a joint press conference with Romanian Foreign Minister Bogdan Lucian Auresque on the same day.

"Regarding the protests in China that we are currently witnessing, the US position is the same as everywhere," he said.

Previously, the White House announced its support for peaceful protests, saying that it was closely monitoring the response to China's protests the day before.
