Around 6:30 a.m. this Tuesday morning, two people died and five were taken to hospital after the collision of two vehicles, at the exit of Adrets-de-l'Estérel, on the A8 motorway, between the Var and the Alpes-Maritimes.
According to information from
Nice-Matin
, the car and the construction van, which were driving towards Aix-en-Provence, collided a little before the exit and went over the guardrail.
The car then caught fire.
According to the local daily, the two victims were two passengers who were in the back of this vehicle and who would have remained prisoners of the flames.
The driver and front passenger managed to get out of the car and were taken to hospital along with the three occupants of the construction van.
