Putin said that Tokayev's visit emphasized the particularity of the relations between Russia and Kazakhstan.

  According to reports, from January to October this year, the trade volume between the two countries increased by more than 10% compared with the same period in 2021, and it is expected to reach a record level by the end of this year.

The two countries pay particular attention to the development of transport and logistics infrastructure, and the removal of trade and investment restrictions.

  Putin and Tokayev signed a declaration on the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and Kazakhstan, emphasizing "avoiding any actions that may damage the strategic partnership and alliance between the two countries", and proposed that the international trade and financial system should be more fair and balanced , not affected by unilateral sanctions, and able to reflect the reality of a multi-polar world, the two sides also confirmed the role of the Collective Security Treaty Organization in ensuring regional security.
