3 Palestinians were killed and succumbed to their wounds, and about 22 others were injured, during clashes that took place at dawn today, Tuesday, with the occupation forces, as they stormed the town of "Beit Ummar" north of Hebron in the West Bank.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health said that one of the martyrs was Mofeed Khalil, who died after being shot in the head with live bullets, while others were hit with live and metal bullets, and some of them suffocated with tear gas.

The Palestine Red Crescent Society had stated in a previous statement that its teams had dealt with 22 injuries.

In its statement, it indicated that "among those injured were 9 by live bullets, 5 by metal bullets, and 8 by suffocation as a result of tear gas inhalation."

Clashes escalated between Palestinians and the occupation forces as additional military patrols stormed the town to secure the exit of one of its military vehicles, which broke down during a military activity last night in the town.

Clashes usually break out in the town of Beit Ummar, which is located on a public road, and the Israeli army erects a military tower at its entrance.
