- How did the idea to go to the NWO zone come about?

- On November 5, we had a meeting with the participation of the Governor of the Sakhalin Region Valery Limarenko, where mothers of servicemen were invited.

The women told what their sons were complaining about and what the mobilized lacked.

As a result, Valery Igorevich proposed to create a public group of wives and mothers of servicemen who would help deliver humanitarian aid to the Donbass.

And also look at the conditions in which their loved ones live.

- What will be the duties of mothers and wives of this social group?

- First of all, distribute humanitarian aid among the guys.

And secondly, just look with an open eye, chat with the guys and find out what we can do for them.

- You go first.

Have you been given instructions on what points you need to pay special attention to?

“I want to talk to the guys, find out what they need.

See what conditions our Sakhalin military personnel live in, whether they are provided with everything necessary, and then bring this information to the authorities of the region.

We are not talking about weapons, but the same unloading, some kind of comforters, warm pants, maybe some thermal imagers of the authorities will be able to buy and deliver.

- And who serves you?

“I have a son.

He is 36.

He was mobilized in October, and on November 5 he was sent to Ukraine.

He is a non-professional soldier.

In his youth, he served military service, then worked in the police for 1.5 years, and recently he was engaged in business.

- When the summons came, how did you take it?

- He came to me.

I, like any mother, worried: “Oh, son, why do you need it, but how?”

But he said that he would go, because there was no other way and he had to repay his debt to the Motherland.

Is this your only son?

- I have three sons.

The eldest is 38, the middle one is 36, the youngest will be 34.

The eldest did not serve in the army for health reasons, and the youngest serves in the National Guard and also wants to go to the Donbass, although he has three children.

- Do you have a connection with your son, who is in the NWO zone?

— Yes, he calls me, father.

What requests did he make to you?

What is missing?

“I never heard a complaint from him.

He says: “Mom, everything is tolerable, mom, everything is in order, don’t worry.”

But he was prepared for such a camp life, and there are other guys who endure all this harder.

And they need to be supported and helped.

And they will be pleased when they see that not only friends and relatives are worried about them in their homeland.

— How did your sons react to your going to Donbass?

- When I told them that I was going to Donbass, they said: “Mom, what are you doing?”

Well, I asked: “Who will go then?”

This is where the conversation ended.

Our family is patriotic.

But they also supported me at work and let me go without problems for a week.

So you'll be back in a week?

- I'm going for a week, until about December 6th.

And then another mother will replace me.

Will you bring humanitarian aid?

“I don’t know if we can deliver everything now or not.

But when we were at the meeting, there was definitely a conversation about generators, shovels, nails.

The question was also raised that the guys have difficulty with washing, with washing things, because there is no water.

They promised that within three days the water would be in the right amount.

- How quickly do you think the issues that the military will turn to you will be resolved?

- I'm not going there alone, but with representatives of the administration of the Sakhalin Region, who will be in touch with me, and I can always share with them, express my opinion.

The group was created not just like that, but in order for it to work.

- Did you take part in the collection of humanitarian aid?

Maybe they knitted something for the military?

- No, I did not take such an active role in this, I did not collect humanitarian aid.

- You are already leaving, it turns out, from Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk?

- I'm already in Moscow, soon we will leave for the Donbass.

I will definitely communicate with the guys, with the commanders, with the privates, with everyone.

How long will mothers ride like this?

- I am the first, but not the only mother who will go to Donbass from Sakhalin.

This is a fairly long-term program.

It will definitely work as long as hostilities are ongoing.
