In his report to the Swedish Work Environment Agency, the safety representative has described the situation at the preschool in question as follows:

The pre-school teacher's responsibility for teaching cannot be achieved due to the lack of certified pre-school teachers.

Staff turnover is high, which results in increased workload and the risk of ill-health.

The temporary staff shortage is acute and creates a high workload and ill health among the staff, which means that sick leave increases.

Åre municipality has replied that it is difficult to recruit qualified staff.

The Work Environment Agency now requires measures by 30 June 2023 at the latest, otherwise the municipality will have to pay a fine.
