The Kazakh leader added that he informed Russian President Vladimir Putin about this.
Earlier, Tokayev said that Kazakhstan would continue to pursue a policy of strategic cooperation with Russia and China.
He also said that Kazakhstan would do everything to protect Russian investments in the country.
