“Yes, there are issues that require additional coordination and even negotiations,” RIA Novosti quoted Tokayev as saying at a meeting with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

He noted that we are talking, in particular, about the gas sector.

The Kazakh leader added that he informed Russian President Vladimir Putin about this.

Earlier, Tokayev said that Kazakhstan would continue to pursue a policy of strategic cooperation with Russia and China.

He also said that Kazakhstan would do everything to protect Russian investments in the country.
