Suspected of having resold gasoline using stolen fuel cards, three people were arrested in Franconville (Val-d'Oise), Thursday, November 17;

They would have offered their services in front of the stations and on Snapchat.

The police had been alerted that a man was offering to pay users' gasoline in front of a station in return for cash.

During his arrest, he had a card belonging to a company based in Gennevilliers (Hauts-de-Seine).

Unleaded 95 and 98 was offered at less than one euro per litre, and diesel for a few cents more.

More than 12,000 euros in damage

The police also found his two alleged accomplices in a car parked nearby, in which 71 cards of 250 euros belonging to the same company were discovered.

128 full were made thanks to them for a total damage of more than 12,000 euros.

Cash was also found.

Two suspects, who admitted the facts during their police custody, will soon be summoned before the Pontoise court.

The third was dismissed.
