The average price in Skåne is expected to be SEK 3.90 per kilowatt hour (kWh).

Between 5 and 6 p.m. it is expected to be SEK 5.45.

It is the most expensive price since mid-August.

Johan Sigvardsson, electricity price expert at Blixia, says that there are several explanations for why the electricity price is rising again right now.

- The weather has been quite mild for a while, but now it's getting colder.

And in Germany there is very little wind, which will affect southern Sweden.

In northern Sweden, electricity price areas 1 and 2, ice is forming in the rivers right now.

This means that hydropower is reduced, something that also affects the price in southern Sweden.

In addition to the prices above, the electricity company's mark-up, taxes, VAT and electricity grid fee are added.
